Drawings

I realized that I was meant to be an artist when I was eleven years old. My first job as a professional artist was illustrating children’s books for Southwest Educational Development Laboratory in Austin, Texas. Illustrating children’s books teaching English to Spanish speaking children getting them ready to go to school. My second job was illustrating for Exxon. This time illustrating training for underground coal miners. My boss at Exxon told me if an artist can draw, they will always have a job. I love to draw being able to draw as a child led to the realization that I could paint. I love animals domestic and wild.
