  Vicki Loper is a prolific internationally recognized artist who began her art journey studying from age 11 with Ruth Mogford an acclaimed artist. Loper continued her studies at the University of Texas in Austin

 Today Loper’s paintings are in numerous private collections across the United States and Europe. Her work has been shown or purchased by commercial entities such as the State Capital of Texas, Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin, Texas, the Opera House in Grapevine, Texas, Shady Brook Resort, Taos Canyon, New Mexico, Point Venture Resort, Lake Travis, Texas and St John the Divine, Houston, Texas. 

Loper has had numerous one person shows and has participated in multiple art shows over the years. Her work is currently shown in galleries in New York and Houston. Vicki Loper’s first Best of Show was awarded at the age of 14

 Her first job out of college was illustrating children’s books for Southwest Educational Development Laboratory in Austin, Texas, she continues to illustrate

 Large paintings and murals have always been a part of Vicki Loper’s repertoire and grace the walls of museums, private residences, and businesses across Texas. Two of these recent works can be seen aboard Corpus Christi’s National Monument and Museum on the Bay-USS Lexington in the “Lone Star Navy Exhibit”

 Vicki Loper is working on a new project she’s calling Art Share which through grants she is giving prints of her paintings to worthy non-profit organizations. She is also, currently working on a show focusing on environmental concerns. 

 

Artist Statement 

Art is a creative expression of life coming through me from the Universe. My art is about joy, beauty, culture. I believe that art should be in all public and private spaces spreading joy and beauty, provide education about cultures to enrich life, and add a little sparkle.
